Worry over future of Haggis Gap Health Centre

by johnwilliams on 30 June, 2017

The Health Service Journal has reported that the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group has the biggest deficit of all CCGs in the country and so far the CCG is refusing to detail what its Sustainability and Transformation Plan to reduce this deficit  has in store for NHS patients and staff.

But we do know from the HSJ that NHS managers in CCGs with the biggest deficits have been told to “think the unthinkable” including downgrading or closing services and facilities.

Against this background concern is being expressed at the future of the branch GP practice in Haggis Gap Fulbourn which is in an NHS owned building in dire need of replacement.

Lib Dems say we have to bit the bullet and raise income tax to save the NHS.
