About Me

John Williams and his family have lived in Fulbourn for over 25 years. His children have been educated at the local state schools. A transport planner by profession, John has held senior management positions in both the public and private sectors and was a director of a successful business consultancy. He is currently the district and county councillor for Fulbourn and is working with residents to fight inappropriate housing developments, improve the condition of local roads and the level of broadband reception, ensure there are sufficient local school places and retain the local bus services. The county Fulbourn division includes the villages of Fulbourn, Great Wilbraham, Little Wilbraham, Six Mile Bottom, Stow-cum-Quy and Teversham while the district ward also includes these village plus Fen Ditton and Horningsea. John is also Lead Member for Finance in the Cabinet of the Liberal Democrat controlled South Cambridgeshire District Council.
